What you'll do
- Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas with precision.
- Prepare surfaces by leveling and cleaning them to ensure optimal tile adhesion.
- Mix and apply adhesive materials for tile installation.
- Lay tiles according to design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Grout and seal tiles to protect against moisture and wear.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and goals.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in tile laying or a related construction field.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installations.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for project management.
- Knowledge of construction management, estimating, and inspection processes.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, plastering, masonry, and concrete finishing.
