Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Energy Engineer based in Providence County, RI. The Energy Engineer will be responsible for conducting energy audits, analyzing mechanical and energy systems, contributing to energy management strategies, and supporting clients in improving their operational efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with clients and team members to design and implement practical, cost-saving projects. Daily responsibilities include site visits, data analysis, preparing detailed reports, onsite inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The candidate should be able to work on client's commercial and Industrial sites for job related functions. The candidate should have basic general knowledge of building systems, industrial systems, and/or the energy efficiency industry. Must be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team setting.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Energy Engineering and Energy Management
  • Developed Analytical Skills for data evaluation and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
  • Strong knowledge of energy efficiency strategies and lifecycle cost analysis
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with energy auditing and system optimization is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and utility programs is a plus
