We are introducing a new concept to the West Valley, and we're on the hunt for an amazing Head Chef / Kitchen Manager who knows how to run a tight ship, lead a solid crew, and deliver food that actually makes people talk. This is not your average BOH gig, we're looking for someone who can bring both heat and harmony to our kitchen From our crave worthy brunches to our bold , dinner forward menus, you'll have the chance to flex serious creativity while keeping costs tight and standards even tighter. What you'll Do:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to consistently deliver top-quality dishes.
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and development
  • Collaborate closely with the management team, ensuring all products meet our high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to maintain budgetary targets while minimizing waste and ensuring freshness.

You Bring:

  • 10+ years of restaurant management experience. FAST FOOD restaurant experience DOES NOT qualify.
  • Passion for immersive guest experiences, social media-worthy presentation, and high standards.
  • Emotional intelligence to inspire teams, lead by example, and adapt under pressure.
  • Experience opening restaurants or building systems from the ground up a strong plus.
  • Ability to manage shifts, scheduling, and planning
  • Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations
  • Understand flavors, aromas, and characteristics of food ingredients
  • Ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness
  • Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Recruit, train, and mentor culinary staff
  • Oversee kitchen staff to ensure food quality meet established standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with ownership and FOH leadership on events, specials, and guest experience

Skills

  • Excellent kitchen management skills with an emphasis on food quality and safety standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the food industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a full-service restaurant
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Deep knowledge of kitchen operations, safety protocols, and budgeting
  • Passion for culinary innovation, sustainability, and seasonal cooking
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
