Post-Bar Law Clerk – Workers' Compensation (FTL, FL)

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national law firm, is seeking a highly motivated Post-Bar Law Clerk to join our FTL office, supporting our Workers' Compensation practice group.

This is a unique opportunity for a recent J.D. graduate or post-bar candidate to gain hands-on litigation experience while working closely with seasoned attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment. Prior experience in Workers' Compensation is not required—we are committed to training the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of case files, including legal research, drafting motions, and summarizing medical records

  • Attend client meetings, depositions, mediations, and hearings for observation and support

  • Organize and analyze documentary evidence

  • Assist in the drafting of discovery responses, trial preparation materials, and correspondence

  • Maintain case files and support case strategy development

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

  • Pending or recent Florida Bar results

  • Strong legal research and writing skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities

  • Willingness to learn Workers' Compensation law

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines

  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in litigation
