Independence Rehab LLC is a Utah-based therapy company that's been proudly serving the residents of Pioneer Place, a wonderful Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living community in Vale, OR, for many years.

Our current PRN Speech-Language Pathologist recently moved away, so we're looking for a caring, skilled SLP with a passion for geriatrics to join our therapy family The current need is about 5-15 hours per week, with the possibility to pick up additional hours at our nearby facilities in Nampa and Emmett, Idaho if desired.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and cognitive impairments

  • Perform dysphagia assessments and provide swallowing interventions

  • Develop personalized treatment plans to maximize function and independence

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that values respect and communication

What We're Looking For

  • Current Oregon SLP license (Idaho as well, if you want to work at our ID bldgs)

  • CCC-SLP preferred (we're happy to consider CFY applicants - supervision available)

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Compassionate, organized, and motivated to make a difference for older adults
