Infant / Toddler Teacher

Collaborate and work with a co-teacher regarding learning how to care for infants and toddlers 6 weeks to 36 months old
Opportunity to be mentored in infant/toddler care, and gain hands-on experience in an infant/toddler classroom
*QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 12 Child Development units (Infant/Toddler units REQUIRED)
Fingerprint Clearance
Up-to-date First Aid and CPR Training
Up-to-date Vaccinations
Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting preferred
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Ability to manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and engaging learning environment
Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Patience, flexibility, and creativity to adapt lessons and activities to meet individual needs
Note: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will also be considered.
