Overview:

The Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is a growing department looking for professionals who are eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission by training the clinical workforce, developing and strengthening health systems and patient-centered initiatives, and advancing knowledge to sustain continuous improvement through research.

A key part of St. Jude Global's work are three key multilateral initiatives: the Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer, the Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines, and the Rays of Hope for Childhood Cancer. These are implemented through partnerships with international organizations including the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). These initiatives represent major investments of both technical and financial resources on the part of St. Jude, bringing together teams across St. Jude Global.

A new leadership position, the Director, Multilateral Program Implementation, is being created to oversee the coordination and implementation of these initiatives and their integration into St. Jude Global's work at regional and country levels. Among the three initiatives, the Global Platform represents the largest investment by St. Jude and so leadership on it will be a particular focus of the position.
