Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset Backed Securities (ABS) professional to join our financial team. This role involves evaluating, structuring, and managing asset-backed securities to support our investment strategies and risk management objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of securitization processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative financial products within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze underlying asset pools, including loans, receivables, or other financial assets, to assess their quality and risk profile
  • Structure and model asset-backed securities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Monitor performance of existing ABS portfolios, identifying potential risks or deviations from expected cash flows
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and investment teams to facilitate the issuance of new securities
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external investors
  • Conduct due diligence on asset pools and transaction documents to support securitization transactions
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to asset-backed securities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA are a plus
  • Proven experience in structured finance, securitization, or related financial analysis roles
  • Strong understanding of asset-backed securities structures, cash flow modeling, and credit analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating across teams
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively
