At Aegis Healthcare we are expanding our Home Health and Hospice Therapy Teams and are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of a Physical Therapy Assistant who shares our desire to make healthcare better for everyone.

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $80,000 DOE (Full-Time)

STATUS: PRN

SCHEDULE: Schedule Flexibility M-F 8am - 5pm

LOCATION: East Valley

Job Summary

• Provide physician prescribed physical therapy under a plan of care established by the PT
• Improve or minimize residual physical impairments of the patient
• Participate with all other health care personnel in patient care planning
• Perform all skilled procedures as ordered by the physician and according to the plan of care established by the PT
• Consult with PT regarding change in treatment
• Participate in educating the patient and the patient's family
• Participate in in-service programs as assigned
• Attend all patient care conferences as scheduled
• Prepare medical records, progress notes and update care plans for each patient visit in a timely manner as per policy

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Current Licensed, registered of Certified in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Valid Driver's License (clean record) and reliable transportation.
• Proof of current auto insurance and registration
• Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
• Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
