Job description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Baseball Pitching Coach to join our team for the upcoming spring season. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior college or professional experience as a pitcher and a strong passion for teaching and developing young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting team practice sessions to train and improve pitching skills for the 13u Premier Spring team.
• Designing and implementing effective pitching programs, drills, and strategies to enhance player performance.
• Providing individual and group lessons to both core team players and aspiring pitchers.
• Analyzing and evaluating player performance, offering constructive feedback, and assisting in their overall growth and development.
• Assist in developing game strategies, including pitcher selection and game-day decisions.
• Collaborating with other coaching staff to ensure overall team success and cohesion.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a pitcher at the college or professional level is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of advanced pitching techniques, strategies, and mechanics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with players, parents, and coaching staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.
• Flexibility to work during team practice hours, programming hours, and game hours.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and manage lesson schedules efficiently.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the game.
