Job Title: Host

As a Host, you'll be the vibrant face of our establishment, welcoming guests with enthusiasm and ensuring they have an unforgettable dining experience. Your role is pivotal in creating a warm atmosphere where guests feel valued and appreciated. You'll manage reservations, greet patrons, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and enhance guest satisfaction. What you'll do

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly smile, setting the tone for their dining experience
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to maximize table turnover
  • Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials or promotions
  • Answer phone calls promptly, assisting with inquiries and reservations while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest relations effectively, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area

Basic qualifications

  • Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Background in food service or customer service roles
  • Familiarity with hotel operations or guest services is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
