Job Summary
PSEG is looking for an Intern for the Corporate Planning and Analysis. This job involves working as an intern in Corporate Planning and Analysis supporting business planning processes for the 10 year corporate planning financial model. Successful incumbent will work closely with various groups across Finance to fulfill corporate planning requirements and enhance PSEG's strategic and financial planning efforts. Focus will be supporting the migration of data and processes to Oracle financial planning and strategic models from legacy Cognos model and/or supporting the transition of the cash model into Workiva. This position will be Remote Local.

Job Responsibilities
Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:

  • Support Enterprise financial 10 year planning process by collecting data, refreshing internal reports, and running the model including financing consolidation
  • Assist in financial model migration from legacy IBM Cognos planning model to new Oracle financial systems by working in PowerPoint to maintain a PSEG user training presentation.
  • Learn corporate monthly cash forecasting process by analyzing cash model results and attending forecasting meetings and Treasury discussions

Job Specific Qualifications

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, or a Business/Quantitative field. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Incumbents must have completed freshman level course work for consideration.

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Incumbents are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing, transportation, and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
