Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and food prep zones
  • Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the restaurant remains tidy and welcoming
  • Follow all food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are upheld
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or customers simultaneously without compromising service quality
  • Engage with customers to answer questions about menu items and dietary options confidently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
