Legal Billing Coordinator

Zausmer, PC, a law firm in Farmington Hills, MI, is looking for a self-directed individual for our billing department. The Billing Coordinator position is responsible for all aspects of the billing process. This includes reconciling matters, preparing budgets, reviewing client billing guidelines and communicating their requirements to the managing attorneys. Bills are submitted through a variety of formats and third-party billing websites. The candidate will also be responsible for researching and following up on outstanding receivables, monthly review of work in process and processing request for ad hoc reports. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a tight schedule. 2-3 years of billing experience in a defense firm preferred, but will train an experienced legal assistant or paralegal.

This position offers competitive compensation based on experience. We also provide comprehensive benefits packages, including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Candidates have the ability to work from home one day per week.
