, in partnership with a cutting-edge electronics manufacturer, is seeking a skilled
Test Technician – Power Electronics
. This role is responsible for setting up and executing environmental and electrical tests, documenting results, and supporting test-related troubleshooting activities.

Job Duties

  • Set up and run development and validation tests, including thermal, vibration, humidity, corrosion, and electrical performance
  • Document and report test results in a clear, organized format
  • Support root cause analysis and assist with issue resolution during testing
  • Select and install instrumentation such as accelerometers, thermocouples, and voltage sense leads
  • Operate standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
  • Fabricate specialized test equipment and simple mechanical fixtures
  • Assist in the design of jigs, test harnesses, and support components
  • Utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to support reporting and documentation

Skills & Experience

Required

  • Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental validation testing
  • 2+ years of experience fabricating electronic test setups and harnesses
  • Familiarity with high-voltage systems and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical datasheets
  • Proficiency with common lab tools and instrumentation

Desired

  • Experience with soldering and basic machine shop equipment
  • Exposure to testing at external facilities or lab environments
  • Ability to support flexible shifts or extended hours during critical test windows
