We pay top of market because we seek only outstanding employees who embrace our commitment to excellence.
This is a place where you will learn and grow. This is an opportunity to join and help define a team in a well-funded company with excellent customer traction. We offer excellent pay, benefits, and outstanding opportunities that can develop into larger roles. More specifically, we have great people working together as a dream team.
What You'll Do:Deliver craft perfection: Transport materials and equipment to construction sites with relentless attention to detail, ensuring timely and safe service that exceeds customer expectations.
Live customer obsession: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding to their needs with urgency and commitment. You'll be the face of Diligent on job sites, representing our dedication to customer service excellence.
Execute safely and efficiently: Operate a roll off truck with unwavering adherence to safety protocols and traffic regulations—Safety 1st is non-negotiable.
Maintain rigorous standards: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness.
Master the craft: Load and unload materials using the knuckle boom with precision, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage and demonstrate operational excellence.
Optimize performance: Assess and optimize load distribution to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement: Identify and propose new insights and improvements to business practices, fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity.
Collaborate relentlessly: Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
Support the team: Work closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and service requests, especially during peak periods and Saturdays.
Embody teamwork: Support colleagues in achieving team goals and living our core value of teamwork through your daily actions.

Are physically fit to perform the job, which requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds (you will be exposed to a physical environment outdoors in various weather conditions, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday)
Have a Class A or B CDL license for over 5 years and understand that while you'll be home every night, the days can be long
Put Safety 1st and are steadfast in keeping people safe from harm—this is our foundation
Thrive in a customer-obsessed culture where customer needs drive your schedule and priorities
Are committed to working Saturdays and extended hours during busy periods without hesitation
Have excellent time management skills and can maintain pace during demanding schedules
Are comfortable driving in and out of tight construction job sites and downtown areas
Can perform a daily, 360-degree inspection of the truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return
Embrace relentless execution and take pride in delivering craft perfection
If you have any experience in waste, construction, demolition, or driving, don't forget to mention it
When you bring your A-game every day, we reward you with top-of-market compensation and benefits:
Competitive hourly pay: $27-29/hr DOE with opportunities for advancement
Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
401(k) with 4% company match
Company paid life insurance policy, short term disability, and long term disability
PTO and paid holidays
Great, collaborative work environment with driven professionals
Opportunities to grow into larger roles as the company expands
This role requires dedication and commitment. You'll work Monday through Saturday, with longer hours during peak construction seasons. Customer needs come first, which means flexibility and a willingness to go the extra mile when our clients need us. If you're looking for a standard 9-5 job, this isn't it. But if you're looking to be part of a high-performance team that's transforming the waste and recycling industry while earning top-of-market compensation, this could be your perfect opportunity.
