Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in various systems including HVAC, hydraulics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the facility operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on hydraulic systems and equipment.
  • Operate scissor lifts and other machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate repairs.
  • Execute welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.
  • Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and maintenance needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing facility.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics.
  • Experience with field service work is preferred, along with strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Military experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and technical skills relevant to the role.
