We are hiring a Marketing and Business Development Liaison to join our team with Athena Home Health & Hospice
Salaried position with an incentive program. Weekly pay This is an on-the-road position that requires the candidate to have an insured vehicle. The coverage area includes, but is not limited to, portions of Middlesex and New London Counties.

In this position, you establish and grow referral relationships with physicians, referral sources, the community, and other providers in the market to grow our hospice census.

Education & Experience:

  • Experience in sales and marketing preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare (hospice, long-term care, acute care, etc.) required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the referral accounts/the community and the agency to identify and develop new potential referral sources.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly and daily marketing plan based on needs.
  • Maximizes census through effective marketing, sales calls, and public relations.
  • Effectively develop and implement monthly marketing plans that are organized and strategic through geographic planning, completion of daily marketing/admission action plans, targeting account assignments, adherence to account assignments, sales call frequency, strategy for account development, and vertical account development.
  • Manage marketing/sales budgets.
  • Track and evaluate referrals.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective families and applicants.
