Substitute Teacher - On Call

We are currently adding applicants to our sub pool to be called when a teacher is out. The great thing is that when you are called, you can create a flexible work schedule that suits you.

What You Will Do:

  • Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for scholars
  • Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground, and in the cafeteria
  • Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plans

Education and Experience:

  • Ability to accept assignments
  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to communicate comfortably (written and orally) with students, teachers, and administrators
  • Must be punctual and reliable
