LAND ADMINISTRATION DIVISION - GIS MAPPING SPECIALIST

Under the direction of the GIS Program Administrator and reporting to the Land Administration Manager, the GIS Mapping Specialist supports the ongoing growth, creativity, and integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) across the organization. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about mapping, design, data visualization, and digital storytelling.

The GIS Mapping Specialist will collaborate with multiple teams to create engaging, user-friendly maps, graphics, and interactive tools that communicate spatial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will be creative, resourceful, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in design, public communication, and problem-solving through data. Candidates with previous experience in python, or the willingness to learn, are highly desirable. Support may also include research, program implementation, and support for divisions across the Community Operations Department.

The pay range for this position is $28.08 to $35.10/per hour. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
