Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial tractor-trailers and flatbeds. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates with experience in route driving, load and unload operations, and delivery are highly preferred. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer and flatbed
  • Deliver freight to various locations according to scheduled routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes
  • Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage during transportation
  • Assist with securing loads and verifying cargo before departure and upon arrival

Skills

  • Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently
  • Experience with specialized trucks such as flatbeds
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation compliance
  • Strong navigation skills for route planning and execution
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with dispatchers and clients
  • Physical ability to handle the demands of long hours on the road and safely securing flatbed loads.
