Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical counseling techniques, behavioral therapy, and the ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The LCSW will work collaboratively with clients to promote mental health and well-being while adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
  • Provide therapy sessions utilizing various modalities, including behavioral therapy and addiction counseling.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize ICD-10 coding for diagnosis and treatment documentation.
  • Engage in clinical research to stay updated on best practices in social work and mental health.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring client safety and support.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proficiency in therapy techniques, including clinical counseling and applied behavior analysis.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance.
  • Experience with addiction counseling is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical research.
