About the Role

Sole Hire, LLC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support enterprise NetSuite ERP implementations in a consulting and MSP environment.

This role works directly under a NetSuite Implementation Consultant. The Implementation Consultant owns the system decisions and NetSuite configuration. The Technical Project Manager owns execution, coordination, timelines, and delivery discipline.

In simple terms:

The consultant decides what gets built.
You make sure it actually gets delivered.
How This Role Fits on the Team

  • You do not configure NetSuite

  • You do manage the work required to implement it

  • You partner daily with the NetSuite Implementation Consultant

  • You coordinate engineers, integration teams, IT admins, and client stakeholders

  • You are responsible for keeping projects organized, on track, and moving forward

What You'll Be Responsible For

Project Management & Delivery

  • Manage day-to-day execution of NetSuite implementation projects

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies

  • Track risks, issues, scope changes, and action items

  • Ensure tasks are completed in the correct order and on schedule

Working Under the NetSuite Implementation Consultant

  • Take solution direction from the NetSuite Implementation Consultant

  • Turn system decisions into clear project tasks and timelines

  • Coordinate requirements sessions, testing cycles, and go-live activities

  • Support UAT, data migration coordination, and cutover planning

MSP & Client Environment Coordination

  • Work in an MSP or consulting environment supporting multiple clients

  • Coordinate between internal technical teams and client-side stakeholders

  • Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams

  • Maintain professional, clear communication with clients at all levels

Technical Awareness (Not Hands-On Engineering)

  • Understand how NetSuite fits into broader IT environments

  • Coordinate with teams managing:

    • Microsoft 365

    • Microsoft Intune / endpoint management

    • Identity and access management

    • Integrations and data flows

  • You don't configure Intune, but you must understand its role in enterprise IT delivery

Meetings, Reporting & Documentation

  • Run project status meetings and internal delivery check-ins

  • Prepare clear status updates, timelines, and risk summaries

  • Ensure documentation, approvals, and handoffs are completed

  • Escalate issues early with proposed solutions



Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or IT Project Manager

  • Direct experience supporting ERP or NetSuite implementation projects

  • Prior experience in an MSP or consulting environment

  • Strong understanding of IT project lifecycles

  • Experience coordinating technical and non-technical teams

  • Comfortable working with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders

  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills

  • Experience using project tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with NetSuite Implementation Consultants

  • Familiarity with ERP concepts (finance modules, integrations, data migration)

  • Exposure to Microsoft environments (M365, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID)

  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification

  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
