Showroom Sales Consultant/Brand Ambassador

At Connecticut Lighting Centers, we've created a shopping experience unlike no other in New England for lighting, ceiling fans, decorative hardware, window shades, home accents, gifts, and accessories. Our showrooms are where inspiration meets expertise.

We're looking for a Sales Associate who will serve as the Brand Ambassador for Visual Comfort & Company, one of the most recognized and respected names in lighting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for design, exceptional customer service skills, and a love for helping clients bring their spaces to life.

Schedule and Compensation

Hours: Flexible within an 8:00 am – 6:00 pm schedule; must be available to work every Saturday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Compensation: $28-31 hourly plus bonuses based on sales goals being met.

What You'll Do

Drive sales to meet and exceed sales goals:

· Manage and execute all stages of the sales process, providing superior customer service.

· Drive sales to the trade and retail customer, providing design and sales expertise.

· Project management from design selection to order delivery.

New business development and account management:

· Identify and create new customers through building strong relationships with interior designers, architects, and builders.

· Source and follow up on leads to develop new business.

· Collaborate with the business development team to maximize sales growth.

· Assist showroom customers in lighting selections and purchases in a manner that maintains long-term relationships.

Showroom operations:

· Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom appearance, which will enhance skills.

· Become proficient in the company's order entry and operating system.

What You Bring

· Retail or showroom sales experience in the luxury home furnishings, lighting, or building materials industries, preferred.

· Experience in Interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishing, and/or lighting industry required.

· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience in project management with the ability to manage client expectations and time effectively.
