Role Overview
We're seeking a
Creative Director
to help define, shape, and scale the creative vision for Autopilot. This role is for a hands-on creative leader who can craft compelling narratives, elevate our brand, and ensure that every touchpoint from marketing to product to content reflects a distinct and cohesive identity.
You'll work closely with our founders, marketing, and product design teams to concept, produce, and execute creative campaigns that push the brand forward. You'll also lead art direction, oversee video/photo production, and develop systems and standards that ensure our brand feels unified, aspirational, and unmistakably Autopilot.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve the Autopilot brand narrative
— develop a strong point of view on how we communicate who we are, what we stand for, and why it matters. - Set the creative vision and direction
across campaigns, content, product, and partnerships. - Lead storytelling and brand design
across channels (video, social, digital, product, partnerships, experiential). - Concept, direct, and produce high-impact creative assets
— from brand campaigns and launch videos to social content and app visuals. - Collaborate cross-functionally
with marketing, design, product, and leadership to ensure cohesive execution across all creative surfaces. - Develop and maintain brand systems
— guidelines, tone, design language, and visual identity. - Mentor and scale creative talent
(designers, editors, producers, freelancers) as we grow the team. - Continuously push creative boundaries

Who You Are
- A storyteller at heart — you know how to turn complex or technical ideas into emotionally resonant creative.
- A hands-on creative who can concept, direct, and occasionally execute (design, edit, or produce).
- An experienced creative leader with a taste for both craft and strategy.
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced, startup environments and can move quickly without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or related roles (agency, startup, or brand side).
- Proven track record of leading creative strategy and execution across digital, video, and social.
- Strong visual and storytelling portfolio — examples of work that blend brand strategy, design, and production excellence.
- Experience collaborating with product and marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of modern design, motion, and content trends.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in fintech, investing, crypto, or financial storytelling.
- Prior experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
- Hands-on design, editing, or production skills (Figma, Premiere, After Effects, etc.).
- Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or creative teams.
