Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences, ensuring freshness and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage food inventory levels, restock ingredients as needed, and monitor expiration dates to minimize waste.
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries promptly.
• Assist with food handling tasks including slicing, assembling ingredients, and packaging sandwiches efficiently for quick service.
• Support team members with bussing tables or cleaning duties during busy periods to ensure a smooth flow of operations.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail sectors will help you excel in this position.
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for creating appealing sandwiches quickly and consistently.
