Position Overview:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Patient Accounts Representative to support our newest office as it begins operations. While this role is primarily focused on data entry and administrative support, it will also involve some patient interaction during the initial phase.

As the office grows, this role is expected to transition into a Patient Relations Representative position, offering more patient-facing responsibilities and front office coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a mission-driven healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities (Initial Phase):

  • Accurate entry of patient demographics, insurance information, and billing data
  • Upload and organize scanned documents and maintain patient records
  • Support benefit verification and log documentation requests
  • Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out processes as needed
  • Help coordinate appointments and maintain a professional front office presence

Future Responsibilities (Growth Path):

  • Serve as a key point of contact for patient questions and concerns
  • Communicate insurance benefits and assist with authorizations
  • Participate in improving the patient experience at the front desk

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft/Office 365, including Excel and Word
  • Willingness to learn new computer programs
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Monday - Friday: 8AM - 5PM
