Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean and organized café environment will be essential to your success. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and providing change efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers.

Requirements

  • Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
