As a Security Professional - Telecom Front Desk - Weekdays in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting guests, and maintaining a welcoming environment while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site protocols.
• Communicate security-related information to the appropriate personnel and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and protocols to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
• Provide support during emergency response activities, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
