About the role
We are seeking an Oracle Developer/Engineer to join our team. This individual will be essential in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database systems and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle database technologies, including SQL and PL/SQL, and a solid understanding of database administration best practices. Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and integration is highly valued and will be considered a significant plus
As an Architect II you will:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture, including concepts like tablespaces, indexing, and partitioning.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex database issues.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience being part of a Project team, collaborating on design and implementation. Working as part of the team, taking guidance from a Project Manager & following a Project plan, including status updates, etc.
- Experience with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, etc.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer or Engineer.
- Able to analyze Oracle RAC architecture and package code base
- Able to present future state options or alternatives for Oracle in Azure
- Experience with Oracle on Azure
- Review output of SQL migration assistant and assess high-level complexity of a SQL or PostgreSQL migration
- Experience with UNC path discovery and migration process within Oracle
- Experience with Delta sync process for transactional tables
