Our client, located downtown on N. Michigan, is seeking a Senior Accounting consultant to join their team for an engagement lasting 2+ month. This individual will assist with a large treasury reconciliation project the company is working through. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a 2/3 split between remote work and onsite. This position may have a opportunity to convert to permanent in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the accounting/finance team to assist with a large treasury reconciliation project.
- Support audit readiness or issues by preparing documentation, gathering evidence, and facilitating audit inquiries.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Prior experience in a consulting or project-based role is advantageous.
Compensation:
The compensation for this consulting position will be offered at a competitive hourly rate ranging between $37 and $50 per hour, depending on experience.
