Position
The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining Americas intelligence satellites.
Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate.
Apogee's ideal Image Scientist is an key contributor performing image analysis and data characterization and trending. If you love Image Science and developing and/or applying tools to provide analytical insights then you'll love Apogee and this position
What You'll Do
- Perform analysis on imagery, spectral imaging, metadata, and systems in support of trade studies and performance characterization
- Provide system performance monitoring, verification, validation, and test (VV&T), and fault isolation
- Work independently or lead small teams to generate and deliver study plans, VV&T plans, and reports
- Present final reports, and presentations to customers
- This position may require travel 2-4 times a year
Desired Skills
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Image Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM program
- Experience in: Remote Sensing, Image Science, Signal Processing, MATLAB, Python, Systems Engineering, Testing, VV&T
