Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques, as well as experience in emergency room or urgent care settings. The CT Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to discuss scan results and patient care plans.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and equipment usage.
  • Operate CT equipment effectively while adhering to safety standards.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members on CT procedures and equipment operation.
  • Stay current with advancements in CT technology and best practices in imaging.

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 1 year(s)
  • Charting System: Required, Epic
  • Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, State licensed

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:30 - 20:00)
