About The Job
The purpose of this position is to coordinate individual, multi-discipline real estate project solutions for a pharmaceutical client, with direct accountability for project delivery.

The work will primarily focus on creating, modifying, and recapitalization of research laboratory space, laboratory building MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) support infrastructure and CS (Clinical Supply) spaces in GxP regulated and non-regulated areas.

Candidate should have familiarity and experience with pharmaceutical GxP compliance requirements (Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Good Documentation Practices, etc.), including managing commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.

What You'll Do

  • Manages all facets of project management (Pre-project safety and risk analysis, budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual projects located in various Indianapolis campus areas including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings.
  • Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
  • Leads project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
  • Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. Facilitates project meetings.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
  • Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Prior experience in the Pharma or health care industry preferred but not necessary as a condition for consideration.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
