Job Title: Lead Line Leader

Position Overview:

The Lead Line Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the line staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation, adherence to recipes, and efficient kitchen operations. This role involves managing daily prep, supporting the kitchen team, and maintaining quality standards while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support line cooks and kitchen staff during peak hours.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation, quality, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory and coordinate with chefs on ingredient orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with training new team members on kitchen protocols and food preparation techniques.
  • Oversee shift change preparation and manage transitions smoothly.
  • Actively communicate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a line cook or similar role, preferably in a high-volume or upscale restaurant.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
