Overview
No Sweat Pipe Insulation is seeking an Insulation Estimator to join our growing team of professionals. No Sweat provides piping and duct insulation services for commercial and industrial projects and worksites. The Estimator will prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, budgets, and specifications, and requirements of hard bid projects. The Estimator will need to possess strengths in paying attention to detail, problem solving, and the ability to work as an individual contributor and in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation.
- Utilize computer based estimating tools to complete hard bid estimates for proposal.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposal documentation.
- Maintain positive communication and relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Skills
- Experience involving the hands-on installation of duct, mechanical piping, refrigeration piping, plumbing piping, and/or insulation is required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, and communicate information obtained from blueprints, models, and specifications.
- Utilize construction estimating software, such as FastWRAP and Bluebeam.
- Knowledge of the latest codes associated with the construction industry.
- Communicate effectively using written, electronic, and voice calling methods.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
