RATE RANGE: $75.00/hr - $130.90/hr W2 **depends on experience and benefits chosen**

DURATION: 12-month contract or contract to hire

LOCATION: Huntsville, Alabama, San Diego, CA, or Woburn, MA

SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED***

Geologics is hiring Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineers to work as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 6 years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Experience providing expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems.
  • Experience in system performance analysis, algorithm development, modeling & simulation, or support to fielded systems

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues using strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
  • Experience with radar system concepts; detection, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
  • Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
  • Experience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORS
  • Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement
  • Experience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools
  • Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
  • Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs
  • Previous military service

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
  • Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
  • Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
  • Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers
  • Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements

You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including:

  • Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics
  • Hypersonic threat defense
  • Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
  • Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support
  • Modeling and simulation of tactical software
