Your Role:

Responsible for participating in all daily fitness center operations in order to ensure optimal performance of the Fitness Center. Provides safe, motivating, and effective exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with day to day operations of the fitness center
  • Conduct membership sales and enrollment
  • Assist members with registration and check-in
  • Group exercise class instruction (virtual/in-person)
  • Conduct Fitness Assessments, Fitness Center Orientations, Exercise Prescriptions
  • Personal Training (virtual/in-person)
  • Health Education and Promotion (virtual/in-person)
  • Incentive Programming (virtual/in-person)
  • Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns) (virtual/in-person)
  • Assist in developing monthly newsletter and group exercise schedule
  • Assist in center marketing
  • Floor supervision
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Equipment orientations
  • Provide member tours
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Fitness workouts
  • Emergency protocols
  • Assist in planning and implementing center events (virtual/in-person)

What we are looking for:

  • Certifications:

  • CPR and AED required

  • B.S. in Exercise Science or related field

  • Experience:

  • Previous experience in personal training and teaching group exercise preferred

  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, Google Suite, and Canva
