Our client, a well-regarded New York law firm, is seeking a Counsel-level attorney to join its
Commercial Foreclosures & Financial Services Litigation
practice.

The Opportunity

The incoming attorney will work independently on a steady pipeline of commercial foreclosure and financial services litigation matters. The firm offers autonomy, a strong support infrastructure, and a collegial hybrid environment (2 days in office). This is a role well-suited for a counsel-level lawyer seeking greater responsibility without the need for portable business.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage commercial foreclosure matters, including drafting complaints and reviewing foreclosure searches.
  • Review commercial loan documents in preparation for litigation and foreclosure proceedings.
  • Handle motion practice and other litigation related to financial services disputes.
  • Work closely with clients and colleagues while maintaining ownership of matters.

Qualifications

  • J.D. with
    New York Bar admission
    required.
  • At least
    5 years of experience
    in commercial foreclosures and financial services litigation.
  • Strong drafting, research, and motion practice skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
