Overview

WSI, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support Quality Control (QC) operations at Mosaic Potash's Main Site in Carlsbad, NM. This position plays a key role in sample collection, routine testing, and accurate reporting to help maintain product quality and plant efficiency.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to perform repetitive, process-driven tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Candidates with laboratory experience, technical coursework, or prior QC work are strongly encouraged to apply.

Duties

  • Collect product samples from designated areas throughout the site
  • Perform standardized laboratory testing and analysis
  • Record, report, and enter data accurately and completely into lab systems
  • Communicate abnormal or urgent findings to appropriate personnel
  • Follow formal laboratory procedures and safety requirements
  • Support sample analysis using basic scientific principles
  • Work independently during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license (required for site access)
  • Ability to work shift schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer literacy (data entry, lab reporting systems)
  • Strong time-management skills to ensure timely sample analysis
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and follow QC laboratory procedures and safety practices
  • Background in science, laboratory work, or quality control (preferred)

Critical Expectation — Data Integrity

  • Accurate, truthful reporting of data and test results is mandatory at all times
  • Falsification, fabrication, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate termination
