Redmond, Washington, United States Microsoft Full time $100,600 - $199,000
Overview
The Cloud & AI organization accelerates Microsoft's mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers' heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate. Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, a theme of inspiring excellence, and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world. Microsoft is one of the largest enterprise service companies in the world.   The Microsoft Red Team attacks ALL Microsoft services, continually – identifying critical, systemic risks, demonstrating authentic attack chains and techniques, and working with engineering teams, investigators, and incident responders to continuously improve their ability to protect, detect, investigate, and respond to real attacks. We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer II to help manage the critical infrastructure our red team relies on to succeed in its mission – and to do so safely and securely.   In this role you'll build automation that dynamically creates ephemeral attack infrastructure, build and manage isolated productivity environments for sensitive work, and establish security policies and monitoring infrastructure that allow us to conduct our unique work while maintaining a higher security bar than the services we attack.   Our engineers come from diverse backgrounds, are passionate about our products, and grounded in our customers' needs. Our team values thoughtful engineering, the ability to develop relationships with your peers and partners, and the ability to focus on the outcomes that matter.  Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.
