About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for pre-kindergarten students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:

  • Assoicate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Valid NV teaching license or certification in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and families.
  • Passion for nurturing and developing young children's learning potential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
