A leading electrical systems manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Sales Engineer near Austin, TX.

Responsibilities - Electrical Sales Engineer:

· Manage and monitor ongoing projects on schedule and at/below budget

· Assist in preparation of proposals and coordinate the ordering of materials

· Ensure job-site compliance with OSHA and other local requirements

· Incorporate layout and other drawings into the project estimate and execution

· Provide top customer service to clients and creatively resolve issues

· Work with correlated department - Engineering and Logistics Shipping & Receiving, schedule etc.

· Show attention to detail

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements – Electrical Sales Engineer:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

· Ideally have at least 3-5 years of project management experience in manufacturing industry

· Must be able to understand electrical drawing/ blueprints

· Proficient Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ERP

· Strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills and time management are MUST

· Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record

· Able to travel up to 75%

· Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment

· While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands. This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
