Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol Driver in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will contribute to a secure environment. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with particular attention to areas relevant to food and beverage operations.
- Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and site personnel to report and document incidents as required.
- Support the maintenance of a secure environment by following protocols specific to food and beverage facilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
