About the role

The Senior Accountant – Creator Cash Cycle plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial integrity of LTK's creator ecosystem. This position is responsible for overseeing and executing all processes within the
three phases of the cash cycle: application, issues & inquiries, and payouts
. The role ensures that creator cash flows are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and internal controls. By managing high-volume transactions, resolving discrepancies, and streamlining payout processes, the Senior Accountant directly contributes to creator trust, financial transparency, and operational efficiency. This role also partners with Finance, Operations, Product, and external stakeholders to design and implement process improvements that reduce risk, enhance automation, and scale with the business's growth.

Key Role

The Senior Accountant will serve as the subject matter expert and point of accountability for the
end-to-end Creator Cash Cycle
. This includes leading:

  • Cash Application
    of payments, receipts, and deferred revenue across multiple systems (e.g., Formance, Netsuite, Routable).
  • Resolution of inquiries and issues
    raised by creators, agencies, and internal teams, ensuring timely communication and remediation of discrepancies.
  • Execution of payouts
    to creators, including prefunding, reconciliation, and bonus programs, while maintaining strict adherence to controls and reporting standards.

The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who can manage high transaction volumes, identify and remediate variances, and drive operational improvements. Success in this position will be measured by the accuracy of reconciliations, timeliness of payouts, and the ability to enhance efficiency and scalability of the cash cycle processes.

How you will make an impact

Cash Application

  • Apply payments accurately across accounts (including Knox uploads, deferred revenue schedules and receipts).
  • Confirm receipts and validate creator payment documentation.
  • Update and monitor the unclaimed tracker, investigating unresolved items.
  • Reconcile bank variances and ensure accurate cash application.

Issues & Inquiries

  • Manage creator/agency questions via Zendesk, Slack, and email.
  • Review and clear open creator invoices.
  • Update payee details on collaboration bills.
  • Investigate and resolve brand reconciliation variances.
  • Partner cross-functionally to implement fixes and process improvements.

Weekly Payouts

  • Calculate amounts needed to prefund weekly creator payouts, ensuring final creator payouts are executed on schedule
  • Reconcile creator payouts, incentive payouts and referral/reward programs
  • Ensure accurate and timely makegood payments through Routable/PayPal pay runs.

Other Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts related to creator payouts and commissions.
  • Prepare clear and concise work papers and journal entries.
  • Support audit requests with schedules and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations to drive efficiencies.

What you will bring to LTK

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (public + private mix preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
  • Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or online marketing industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven transaction cycles.
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent multitasking and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; Netsuite experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with payout platforms (Routable, Formance, PayPal, Stripe) a plus.
