About Us

Optimyzed Movement & Recovery is an athletic wellness concept dedicated to enhancing movement patterns, preventing injuries, and maximizing physical potential for active individuals in the community. Our approach combines manual therapy, advanced recovery modalities, and lifestyle support to help clients feel strong and capable in the context of their unique athletic profile.

We're launching our first location in Durham and are seeking a marketing consultant to help refine our brand voice and execute our pre-launch marketing strategy.

About the Role

We're looking for a
marketing professional or creative consultant
to support our
clinic launch and local market entry
. This short-term engagement will focus on reviewing our existing branding, refining messaging, and executing a targeted marketing plan leading up to our public opening.

You'll collaborate directly with the founder to develop and deploy creative outreach campaigns aimed at building awareness and early engagement in the local community.

What You'll Do

  • Review and refine existing brand messaging, visuals, and tone for consistency and impact.
  • Develop and execute a
    pre-launch marketing plan
    focused on brand awareness and local engagement.
  • Plan and manage
    direct mail campaigns
    and
    geographically targeted social media ads
    (Instagram/Facebook).
  • Support creation of launch collateral (flyers, postcards, signage, short-form content).

  • Proven ability to design and execute short-term campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of
    local targeting and community-based brand activation
    .
  • Hands-on comfort with tools for content creation and social media management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a start-up environment.

Contract Details

  • Duration: Approx. 10–12 weeks
  • Estimated workload: 10–15 hours/week
  • Compensation: Hourly or Project Rate (based on experience)
