As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Logistics in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
• Monitor the logistics and distribution environment for unusual conditions, hazards, or potential security-related concerns, and report findings appropriately.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors to support the operational needs of the location.
• Complete required reports and logs regarding activities, incidents, and/or observations during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related issues and support overall site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possessing a guard card or license is preferred.
• Having X Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Having access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
