Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Sushi Cook to join our opening team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to quality, consistency, and presentation — bringing both skill and creativity to every dish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes following restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled with care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station at all times.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Follow food safety, storage, and sanitation protocols.
  • Deliver impeccable presentation and attention to detail for each order.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Cook or in Japanese cuisine (fine dining preferred).
  • Excellent knife and fish preparation skills.
  • Strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and consistency.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
  • Professional, dependable, and a strong team player.
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
