EnergenX operates at the intersection of classical electromagnetism and next-generation power-system innovation. We focus on high-frequency field interactions, resonant architectures, and advanced energy-transfer mechanisms that challenge conventional assumptions.

Our team investigates non-traditional electromagnetic behavior, transient energy phenomena, and high-voltage resonant systems using rigorous, measurement-driven engineering. This includes studying inductive collapse events, displacement-current surges, field-coupled energy transfer, and other fast-transient effects.

We work closely with venture firms, patent attorneys, and industry R&D partners, and this role is central in translating technical insights for these audiences.

Role Description

EnergenX is seeking an Advisory Consulting Engineer who can contribute their domain expertise while maintaining full-time employment elsewhere. You'll support experimental design, instrumentation strategy, and analysis of transient EM behavior, while helping frame results, risks, and opportunities for external stakeholders.

This role collaborates closely with engineering teams, investors, IP counsel, and industry partners; bringing scientific rigor and clear communication to frontier research areas.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in EE, Applied Physics, or related field.
  • 5+ years in HV/pulsed-power systems, resonant coils/RF, EMC/EMI, DAQ/instrumentation, or advanced experimental R&D.
  • Strength in transient analysis, HV impulse behavior, inductive systems, and precision measurement.
