Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow through creating a healthy routine for each child. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love of learning. We have a position with our older infants/younger toddlers, ages 11 months-14 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote early childhood development

  • Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment with a positive attitude

  • Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress

  • Plan and organize daily activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, music, outdoor play, and storytime

  • Observe and assess children's behavior, development, and progress

  • Use effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and milestones

-Strive to create a healthy routine for the kids in your classroom

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or group setting

  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

  • Familiarity with childhood development stages and milestones

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities

  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

  • Certification or degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required

Skills:

  • Ability to educate young children in a fun and interactive manner

  • Knowledge of daycare procedures and regulations

  • Understanding of childhood development stages

  • Experience in infant or toddler care

  • Effective behavior management skills in a classroom setting

-Be comfortable helping an infant or toddler work through their emotions/communicating and keeping calm as you help them.
